Hi, I’m Jo. I’m a Crocheter, Knitter, Pattern Designer, and Yarnaholic! I love to create and make new things with yarn.
The Early Years.
My mother taught me how to knit in my early years and have been knitting ever since. I started with the basic stitches and made blankets for my pets and clothes for my dolls.
Eventually, I taught myself how to crochet as well and made clothes and blankets for my children and dogs. Now, I always have a crochet hook or knitting needles in my hands, and I am indeed hooked (excuse the pun!).
I love spending my time crocheting or knitting, not only for the benefit of making a designer item but also because I love the experience of working with different yarns, textures, and colors.
Crochet and Knitting are my therapy, they allow me to connect with my creative flow. I am constantly making things for the website and fulfilling orders. I also like designing patterns for everyone to enjoy.
Founder of YarnHype.
I founded YarnHype so that other people could purchase my creations as I wanted others to enjoy them as much as I do. I found that friends and family were asking for custom items so I decided to offer that service to everyone, so they too could have a particular item in the yarn and colors of their choice.
It has always been a passion to be creative and I have always dreamed of having a small, successful business. I enjoy making other people happy by doing what I do. I have a goal of one day owning my own physical shop selling my own designer YarnHype-branded creations and having an online shop is just the beginning.
